Pent up frustration from lack of exercise and leadership are the leading causes of unwanted behavior, such as fear, anxiety, phobias, fixations, obsessions, aggression. These are simply symptoms of an underlying issue. Since dog behavior is a combination of instinct and a conditioned response, by migrating, – working with their instinct - then disagreeing with unwanted behavior and reconditioning a new response with reward - makes it possible to rehabilitate almost any dog.

Products, Services and Providers

http://www.holisticpetinfo.com offers holistic information and health products for various conditions, including Gastriplex, a product Barb highly recommends for gastrointestinal upset, persistent diarrhea, or large, loose stools. This product has improved the health of Barb’s dogs, Cesar and Kev, and many AHS foster dogs (two of whom were able to transition from prescription dog food to a quality mainstream dry food with the use of Gastriplex).

http://www.onlynaturalpet.com also provides helpful information and sells high quality pet care & health products, including PlaqueOff and Dog Gone Pain (DGP).

PlaqueOff is an all-natural kelp supplement that’s added to food, creating an enzyme action that gradually breaks down dental plaque, with excellent results within 2-3 weeks. It’s very affordable, plus it saves the cost and discomfort of teeth cleaning at the vet’s. Barb’s dogs have had dramatic results, especially the mature dogs with significant buildup.

DGP
is a safe and effective supplement for join pain and stiffness with noticeable results within one week. It supports joint function, enhances mobility & demeanor, and brings out the “puppy” in your dog.

http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/care.htm is an excellent resource describing specific techniques for addressing common behavioral issues.
