Barb Kennedy, Founder of Whatcom Dog Rehabilitation, is passionately committed to improving the lives of dogs and their families in Whatcom County.

She is actively involved with The Alternative Humane Society (AHS), and has fostered and rehabilitated many of AHS's most difficult cases.

Barb has also volunteered her time and knowledge in the education to other AHS volunteers.

Looking for dog training in Bellingham? We offer Whatcom County dog rehabilitation services, Skagit Valley dog training, Skagit County dog consultation, Lynden leash training, and Birch Bay canine behavioral consulting.  We also provide Semiahmoo in-your-home dog therapy, Custer holistic training, Alabama Hill K-9 behavior consults. Other Bellingham services we provide include group dog training classes, Birchwood how to walk your dog on a leash training, dog training classes in the Columbia neighborhood, private training in Edgemoor.  Fairhaven instruction for dog guardians, Happy Valley leash training, Roosevelt dog aggression counseling are quite popular.  People hire us to rehabilitate their dogs fear, aggression and anxiety issues.  We help with Ceasar Milan style pack leadership training.  We teach you how to be your dog's pack leader.  We drive to the Sehome neighborhood, and teach you how to walk your dog in a heeling mode without every saying "heel."  We provide group glasses in the Silver Beach neighborhood, and teach dog guardians how to treat their pets in Silver Beach.  Whatcom Dog Rehab also provides foster care for dogs in need through the Alternative Humane Society (AHS) of Whatcom County.  If your dog chews her bed up in Sunnyland, we can help.  If your dog has unwanted behaviors in the WWU area, our services are designed for you.  Folks who live near Western Washington University hire us to socialize their anti-social canine.  Bellingham dogs with anxiety can be assisted. Fairhaven K-9 training. Destructive dogs in Ferndale are helped.  Dogs that fight with other dogs in Blaine are our specialty. We provide services for dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs in Bellingham.  References available.  Referrals for services beyond dog care products, holistic pet resources,  dog trainers, dog training advice, dog training programs, dog treadmill work, canine good citizen program, dog rehab Bellingham, K-9 training, dog behavior problems, dog behaviour advice, and dog behavior modification. Does your dog have Separation Anxiety, Leash Pulling, Fear of/aggression towards leash? Does your dog have a problem with Growling/dominance at family members, Destructive chewing/digging, or Reactive, growling at other dogs? What about Fence fighting Nuisance/excessive barking and Inappropriate greeting? Some dogs are prone to Invading space, Excited/nervous urination and even Claiming furniture or areas.
